Lori Dorfman

Berkeley Media Studies Group


Lori Dorfman is director of the Berkeley Media Studies Group, a project of the Public Health Institute, and an expert in working with the news media to advance public policy goals. She edited Reporting on Violence, A Handbook for Journalists and co-authored News for a Change: An Advocates' Guide to Working with the Media. Lori holds MPH and DrPH degrees from the University of California, Berkeley.
